Hello, beloved reader.
When I sat down to draw an apple using pencil colours, I knew that I wouldn't get it right in the first attempt so I started drawing it on a sheet which already had a lot of rough drawings on it, so I could practise. However, I ended up drawing this, and really liked how it turned out, and was pleasantly surprised because I wasn't expecting that it would turn out well in the first attempt itself. But, as I mentioned, it was in the corner of a sheet full of rough drawings, so I had to cut it out. The interesting thing is, when I tried drawing on a fresh sheet, thinking that I'd draw an even better one now, I didn't like the ones I drew, which made me think that there was a lesson in it.
I learned that I should trust myself, and always use a fresh sheet while drawing even if I think that I won't get it right in the first attempt, and that when one does things without any pressure one tends to do a much better job.
Thank you for reading.
