Hello, beloved reader.

When I began reading the short story 'The Eyes Have It' by Philip K. Dick, I had no idea what was in store for me, because I'd never heard of the story before, which turned out great for me because had I known about the story I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

I was with the protagonist until the eyes roved about the room, and then comprehension hit me like a train, and I absolutely died on the spot. The story took me on an incredibly witty, pure, and innocent journey. I laughed out loud while reading something after a long time.

It's one of those observations that you wish that you'd made yourself, it made me admire the author for writing about it in such a witty fashion. It made my day. I loved it so much that I started reading it again as soon as I'd finished reading it for the first time.

I keep wondering, how am I going to keep a straight face when I begin reading the next novel, how am I going to keep myself from laughing at almost every other sentence? I feel like after reading this short story, reading books would never be the same again. I think I'm going to remember this short story every time I read a book, and even the thought of it makes me laugh. Maybe I shouldn't fight it, and I should just give in, and read the next novel with this short story in my mind. It will be a laugh riot.

Thank you for reading.
