Hey, creative creature.

Recently, I watched “The Creative Brain” which is a documentary helmed by the neuroscientist, David Eagleman.

According to Eagleman, “Our brains are novelty seekers. What’s old and familiar becomes less and less stimulating. Creativity emerges when we step off the path of least resistance and push boundaries. Pushing at the boundaries of comfort is risky, but it can be the most rewarding.”

While watching it, I had my notebook on my lap and I jotted down the following points that were recommended to become creative:
1. Try something new.
2. Push boundaries.
3. Don’t be afraid of failure.

I’ve made this anatomically incorrect brain which was thrice its size when I first drew it but then I kept trimming it to get the shape right and it became small and while making it, I think I ticked off all the three points mentioned above, but more importantly I had fun.

Thank you for reading.
