Hello, chickabiddy.

While having breakfast, I started playing a game with my mother. The game was simple—I'd say a dialogue, and she'd tell me which movie the dialogue's from.

She answered the first one fairly easily because it was from one of the movies that we've both watched several times. Then it was her turn and she explained and enacted the scene more than saying the actual dialogue, and she did all this while looking at the ceiling, no doubt trying to see it in her mind's eye, but I still understood because we've seen that movie many times as well.

As I was giggling and trying to come up with another dialogue, when it was my turn, with my chin tilting up, I realized that I had to really think about it, and although I've watched so many movies, in that moment it felt like I've seen but a few because only a handful of movies and dialogues were coming to my mind. My mom said that she felt the same.

It was fun, we were coming up with them rather quickly and the back and forth of turns between us was rather speedy. We were both having a great time—eating, playing, and laughing.

It made us revisit all those movies, in our minds, that we like so much, and we talked about wanting to watch a few of them again.

We've decided that we will carry on with the game and give a dialogue whenever we think of one. It's been going on for about three days now.

Thank you for reading.
