Hello, beloved reader.

I wasn't looking for Eris when I found her, but I started reading the novel, 'Eris' by Robert W. Chambers, as soon as I found it. I'd never heard of it before, nor did I know about Eris, the Greek goddess of strife and discord.

I couldn't help but admire the protagonist's quiet strength and equanimity, as well as her immense thirst for knowledge, and eagerness to learn. The purity and innocence with which she tells her father that she wants to be 'somebody,' won my heart and broke it simultaneously. I think we could all learn a thing or two from Eris.

I was working with glitter after a long time, and I was happily captivated. However, there was an accident. The glitter tube burst, but don't worry, I am all right. It was rather funny. I admit that I can only call it funny because the glitter tube didn't burst all over me, and the wall took the brunt instead. I've cleaned it up, but it's still slightly glittery. Looks pretty, though. It occurred to me just now that the glitter tube could have burst open on my drawing.

Thank you for reading.
