Hello, earthling-who-should-be-protected-at-any-cost.

Last night, I began reading the short story, 'The Most Dangerous Game' by Richard Connell. Even though I was anticipating the stakes to go high any moment, sleep overtook me and I let it.

After breakfast, this morning, I remembered I was still in the middle of the story so I started reading, and, believe me, the stakes went through the roof. I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it. It was horrifying, and it made me really grateful for being safe at home.

After I finished reading it, I found myself still thinking about it, and that's when I realised the dual meaning of the title, which is rather clever.

Thank you for reading.
