Hello, my precious.
While reading, "The Fellowship of the Ring," by J.R.R. Tolkien, when I stumbled upon "The Riddle of Strider," I was pleasantly surprised, my eyes lit up, for I had read the first two lines innumerable times and yet I did not know that they were from a poem.
I think Aristotle was right when he said, "The whole is more than the sum of the parts," because I liked the poem so much that I read it over and over again, to the point that I memorized it.
It was a significant moment because it reminded me that I've still got so much to learn. I was ecstatic to have learned something new because learning is exhilarating.
My hands were glittery by the time I was done making this but I liked it because I'm gold and I'm supposed to glitter. Let's glitter, you and I, because we're gold.
Thank you for reading.
