Confession time.

When I see a bookstore, my eyes turn into little hearts and I feel like buying all the books. Being a voracious reader, I tend to buy lots of books but I keep buying more even though I have many unread books. This is called tsundoku. It's a Japanese term which refers to 'the practice of buying a lot of books and keeping them in a pile because you intend to read them but have not done so yet'.

I decided to do something about my tsundoku. I promised myself that I won't buy any more books until I read the ones I already have. Suffice to say, I haven't bought a single book in a long time, yet I haven't finished my pile.

As soon as I am done with my pile, I am going to dress up astronomically cute and buy new books.

Do you have a huge pile of unread books, too? Let's finish our tsundoku so we can buy more books without feeling guilty.

Thank you for reading.
