Hello, cute creature.
I need to share something important with you.
Until recently, I did not know that the lyrics of the renowned nursery rhyme, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" are from a poem written by Jane Taylor, "The Star".
When I stumbled upon the poem, I was delighted but a part of me also felt slightly ignorant for not knowing that, but we learn something new every day, don't we? Did you already know that? Tell me that you didn't either or I will get sad. While making this bookmark, I told my mother about the poem, and she was surprised to know that, too.
I would have looked so cute had I recited the whole poem when I was a kid. I missed that chance, but it's still not too late, is it?
I, now, have two missions. First, I will ask my friends if they know where the lyrics of this rhyme are from. Second, I will learn the poem by heart because grown-up Sahar needs to do what little Sahar should have done.
Thank you for reading.
